Witness of War: Peter Lems is the Iraq associate at the national Peacebuilding unit of the American Friends Service Committee. In November 2007, he took part in an AFSC assessment team that visited Syria and Jordan to better understand the conditions of Iraqi refugees and explore new areas for support.
