Description: Highly recommended for those considering risking arrest Friday afternoon. Includes manadatory legal briefing for Civil Disobedience participants and their supporters.

Designed for those contemplating civil disobedience and committed to nonviolent social change, these interactive trainings will highlight the power, principles, history and spiritual foundations of nonviolence and include the pledge, exercises, role plays, and hassle lines. The trainings will increase mutual support among the participants as they prepare for the possibility of engaging in nonviolent direct action.

Legal Briefing: The final half-hour of legal briefing will provide Friday afternoon Civil Disobedience participants and their supporters with information about the action, legal implications, support and logistics. MANDATORY for those taking part in the civil disobedience.
